MyToys

E-commerce · mobile app

A toy store in your pocket. Tailored to every child.

MyToys is the iOS and Android app of an online store for kids’ products. We built both parts: the backend that ingests the store’s XML feed and serves catalog, prices and stock to the app, and the app itself — from search and size matching to payment and order tracking.

Store integration

We set up XML exports of the catalog, prices and stock from the client’s store. A dedicated backend prepares the data to keep the catalog and search fast in the mobile app.

Catalog

  • Categories, weekly hits and themed collections on the home screen help shoppers find the right item
  • Filter by gender, age, height, price and brand using details from the child’s profile
  • Elasticsearch keeps search and filtering fast across a large catalog, including busy periods
  • Product pages show photos, available sizes, prices, offers and current stock
  • Customer reviews include fit feedback to help choose the right size before buying
  • Save favorite products to return to them when ready to make a purchase

For each child

  • A separate profile for each child stores height, foot size and interests for personalized suggestions
  • Profile details fill catalog filters automatically, reducing the search for suitable products
  • Size advice compares brand charts with the child’s measurements and allows room to grow
  • Update height and foot measurements in the profile as the child grows
  • Gift collections take age and interests into account to help choose a suitable present
  • Keep birthdays and preferences close at hand to plan gift shopping ahead of time

Order

  • The cart includes offers, gifts and promo codes in the final order total
  • Checkout on one screen: profile recipient, address, delivery method and time, and payment
  • Choose a convenient pickup point on the map or courier delivery to an address
  • Step-by-step order status and courier contact help track the purchase until arrival
  • Purchase history lets shoppers reorder without searching for every product again
  • Review delivered products and request a return directly from the order details
Catalog and search

A catalog that knows the child.

Home, catalog and filters prefilled from the child’s profile

The home screen brings together categories, weekly picks and collections. The catalog filters by gender, height, age, price and brand — with a child profile, they are filled in automatically. Search and filters run on Elasticsearch and stay fast at peak hours.

Product

The right size the first time.

Product page, reviews and size finder based on the child’s measurements

Product pages with gallery, price and deals, and reviews that rate the fit. The size finder compares the brand’s chart with the child’s measurements and suggests a size with room to grow.

Checkout

From cart to payment in three screens.

Cart, checkout and order confirmation

The cart applies discounts and promotional gifts. Checkout fits on one screen: recipient from the profile, delivery method and time slot, payment. The order goes straight into the store’s ERP.

For each child

A child profile instead of manual filters.

Onboarding, child profiles and birthday gifts

On first launch the app offers to add your kids. Height, foot size and interests are used everywhere: in catalog filters, size matching and birthday gift selections.

After purchase

Every order tracked to the door.

Order tracking, order history and delivered order details

Step-by-step order status and courier contact, purchase history with one-tap reorder, item ratings and returns from the order page.

skin in the game

We don’t just build for clients. We run our own products.

Since 2013 we have launched, sold and operated our own services. That changes how we work on yours.

  1. 01

    Owner’s judgment

We weigh every feature against cost and payback — and push back on scope that doesn’t serve the goal.

  2. 02

    Production-proven stack

The architecture we recommend is the one running our own products under real load.

  3. 03

    We stay after launch

We operate our own services 24/7, so monitoring, releases and incidents are routine, not an upsell.

  4. 04

    Business, not just code

Pricing, payments, analytics, growth — we have been through it ourselves and speak your language.
